The Birth of Fuji Seiran

A spit of white sand and green pines gently cradles Heda Port like a protective arm. This scenic stretch, known as Mihama-no-Misaki, is considered one of the most picturesque spots in all of Izu.

Shielding the bay from the rough winds and waves of the open sea, the cape ensures calm waters even on days when white waves—like white rabbits—frolic across Suruga Bay. Gentle waves lap quietly against the pier.

Heda Port has long served as a harbor of refuge, a place where travelers would pause and rest while waiting for fair winds.

It is upon a small hill, nestled at the shoulder of this cape, that our retreat—Fuji Seiran—quietly stands.

Stay

As its name suggests, Fuji Seiran is graced with uninterrupted views of the solitary peak of Mt. Fuji and the deep blue expanse of Suruga Bay.
From every room, the surface of the water stretches out like a painting.
Here, guests are treated to a panorama that exists nowhere else—Mt. Fuji, the sea, and the setting sun in perfect harmony.
With nothing to obstruct the view, just five exclusive guest suites invite you to savor a spectacle unlike any you have ever seen.

Dining

Rooted in the essence of Japanese cuisine, our dishes are creatively reimagined through the chef’s sensibilities and artistry—offering original culinary experiences found only at Fuji Seiran.

Fresh seafood sourced directly from local fishing cooperatives and vegetables lovingly grown at our own farm in Izu are used in abundance, bringing out the inherent flavors of each ingredient.

Our ingredients come from trusted partner farmers who work in harmony with the land and from fishermen who know the waters of Heda intimately.

In close collaboration with these producers, our chef selects each ingredient at its peak and elevates it into culinary artistry. Indulge in the nourishing, flavorful bounty cultivated by the land and sea of Heda.
